Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Hyper Beam ("Hyper Beam," "we," "us," or "our") is a LinkedIn ghostwriting agency based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, operating at hyperbeam.agency. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or engage our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form or email us, we receive your name, work email, company, LinkedIn URL, and the contents of your message. If you become a client, we additionally collect billing information, voice and interview recordings, draft approvals, and any materials you share for content development.
- Information collected automatically. Our site uses cookies and similar technologies — including Google Analytics 4 and the LinkedIn Insight Tag — to log pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location, browser and device type, time on page, and click behavior. Our hosting platform also logs IP address and request metadata for security and reliability.
- Information from third parties. If you engage with our LinkedIn posts or ads, LinkedIn may share aggregated audience data with us. We do not buy or sell personal data.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and qualify potential engagements.
- To deliver, manage, and improve our ghostwriting services for clients.
- To measure the performance of our website, content, and marketing.
- To retarget visitors with relevant LinkedIn advertising.
- To send transactional communications (proposals, invoices, scheduling).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Cookies and tracking
We use first- and third-party cookies for analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, and manage LinkedIn advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings. Most browsers also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we treat as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising where applicable.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with vendors that help us run the business, including:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Analytics providers (Google, LinkedIn)
- Email, scheduling, and CRM tools
- Payment processors for client billing
- Professional advisors (accounting, legal) under confidentiality
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hyper Beam, our clients, or the public.
5. Client confidentiality
Every client engagement is covered by a mutual non-disclosure agreement. We do not publish client names, share client materials, or use client content for marketing without written permission.
6. Data retention
We retain contact-form inquiries for up to 24 months. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus seven years for tax and contractual purposes, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data follows the retention windows configured in Google Analytics and LinkedIn.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (CCPA/CPRA). EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email erikrichison@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any material breach affecting your information as required by law.
9. International transfers
Hyper Beam operates from the United States. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
